LANDRELATIONS / Brigalow Belt
Art, science and technology around an Australian bioregion.
LANDRELATIONS, by artist and researcher Dr. Tricia Flanagan, brings together experimental media, performative artifacts and the relationships between art, science and technology, all connected to Australia’s Brigalow Belt bioregion.
The exhibition includes an immersive audiovisual experience delivered through 360° projection, and its touring has been documented by NETS Australia and the University of New South Wales.
The show was presented at Lake Macquarie (Awaba), New South Wales, at the Museum of Art and Culture (MAC yapang) and the Multi Arts Pavilion (MAP mima), and opened on 16 August 2025. Flanagan combines traditional craft techniques with future technologies to create organic sculptural devices that reveal the intelligence of natural systems and foster ecologies of empathy.
Our connection to the project
This project is a reference for our work in international audiovisual contexts and artistic experimentation: visual design and narrative development for complex audiovisual content, adapting material to exhibition and distribution formats, and experience working within an international audiovisual creative environment.
